Job Summary

As Senior Vice President of the Company-Owned Swim School for the Eastern Region, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of our swim schools in this area. You will provide strategic direction, drive revenue growth, and ensure operational excellence across all locations. You will work closely with the Executive Leadership team to develop and implement business strategies that achieve financial targets, improve customer satisfaction, and drive employee engagement and retention.


The successful candidate will oversee more than 20 company-owned schools located across New York (Long Island), Rhode Island, and DMV (Maryland and Virginia). We expect this school count to grow in the region.


There is an expectation to be in swim schools two to three days per week. The successful candidate will be able to travel to some combination of Long Island, Rhode Island, Maryland, and Virginia on a weekly basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial targets, improve customer satisfaction, and drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives and deliver results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies, pricing optimization, and new product development.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve business goals.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams across all swim school locations.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance for the Eastern region, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • The primary focus for the first several months will be on Saf-T-Swim, our banner based in Long Island, NY
  • Likely visiting swim schools roughly two to three days per week


Qualifications

  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets, improving customer satisfaction, and driving employee engagement and retention for multi-unit business.
  • Experience overseeing a region of 20+ units (e.g., schools, stores, restaurants)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the service industry or with children.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of service industry or work with children is preferred.
  • Passion and experience with swim schools is a plus.


Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $150,000-175,000 / year
