The Vice President of Marketing at i9 Sports is a strategic leader who understands the unique dynamics of franchise marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the franchise space, with an acute understanding of franchisor-franchisee relationships and experience in managing strategic brand funds. This role requires a digitally savvy marketer who is an expert at interpreting data and navigating the nuances of local and national marketing across the digital marketing mix.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that supports both national brand growth and local franchisee success.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with franchise partners, understanding their unique market needs and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Oversee the strategic brand fund, ensuring investments are made to drive maximum performance for the brand and its franchisees.
  • Consistently identify new or expanded revenue opportunities and strategize the necessary implementation of those plans.
  • Lead a marketing team to execute campaigns that balance national brand priorities with local franchisee support & customization.
  • Establish performance metrics and accountability for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage and optimize the franchise's online presence across all digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer journey.
  • Use data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Through collaboration with the operations team, oversee franchise development strategy and vendor execution to support growth and recruitment initiatives.

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role within a franchise organization.
  • Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams that enable growth and scale.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and allocating brand funds strategically across a franchise system.
  • Strong understanding of the franchise business model and experience in fostering productive franchisor-franchisee relationships.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a focus on ROI and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence franchise partners and stakeholders.
  • Robust knowledge of local marketing, with a sensitivity to the diversity of markets and communities served by franchisees.
