October marks substantial franchise growth across the YEB Family. Together, this month’s 4 openings and 15 new franchise agreements illustrate Youth Enrichment Brands' diverse portfolio and its dedication to enhancing lives.
School of Rock welcomed 7 franchisees and opened 2 new international schools, marking a record number of new franchisees within a calendar year. This expansion strengthens School of Rock's position as a leader in the music education space, reinforcing the effectiveness of the School of Rock model in fostering musical talent among students. School of Rock, i9 Sports welcomed 3 new franchisees during the last month with 8 locations open for registration. Streamline Brands continued the overall growth with 2 new franchisees and 1 new location.
Each of these new franchisees bring distinct skills and enthusiasm to their communities, and we are thrilled to support them as they begin this journey with the YEB Family.
Seasonal Successes
From November 2024through January 2025, US Sports Camps will offer around 500 winter camp programs. Looking ahead to the Summer 2025 camps, USSC has confirmed schedules from several universities and locations: Auburn University, Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo, Juniata College, Loyola Marymount, the University of Denver, MSU Denver, the University of Redlands, UC Santa Barbara, Royal Lahaina Resort, UNLV, and the University of South Carolina.
Improved Mental Training for Youth Athletes
US Sports Camps has partnered with Evolve1 to enhance mental training for youth athletes to improve their focus, resilience, and performance. Read more about the partnership and the impact it will have on USSC’s website.
Continuing to Break Records
i9 Sports celebrated a record-breaking Fall Season with over 200,000registrations. This impressive growth is due to expanding franchise territories, organic growth, new sports offerings, and the introduction of Early Fall and Late Fall sessions in more areas. i9 Sports’ dual-season approach caters to families looking for year-round opportunities and meets the rising demand for flexible and accessible sports programs.
This change creates a seamless customer experience between the traditional Falland Winter Seasons. This enhancement also boosts enrollment which strengthens the brand's presence, and franchisee return on investment.
New Ownership Groups Continue on Path Toward Grand Openings
In October, six new ownership groups representing nine territories successfully completed Phase I training. These franchise owners are now back in their respective markets, actively working to secure their initial venues and beginning their marketing efforts in preparation for their Grand Opens in Spring 2025.
The new ownership groups include three territories in Utah, two in New Jersey, two in California, one in Tennessee, and one in North Carolina.

Spooky Season Celebrations
October at Streamline Brands was filled with fun and frights as we added a splash of spookiness to our swim lessons! Many locations celebrated the Halloween season with our 'Pumpkins in the Pool' events, transforming traditional pumpkin patches into floating fun. Other locations hosted 'Trunk or Treat' events, offering a safe and exciting way for children to collect treats and show off their costumes. These festive activities not only provided a lot of laughs and smiles but also strengthened the bonds within the communities we serve.
Celebrating Alumni Achievements and Community Impact
School of Rock Eden Prairie alumna Frankie Torres, who enrolled at age eight, has reached the top 56 artists on NBC's The Voice and is now being mentored by Reba McEntire! After nearly a decade at School of Rock and six national tours, she now performs with her band Midnight Rambler in the Twin Cities and supports a nonprofit for young adults with disabilities.
Meanwhile, six School of Rock locations in Colorado held a Halloween celebration at The Rickhouse Venue, featuring music, costumes, and fundraising for the Food Bank of the Rockies. Each school's House Band performed Halloween-themed sets, showcasing how music can unite and inspire community spirit. Rock on, Colorado!
Enhancing Systemwide Support
As School of Rock expands, we're excited to announce Cia Tucci as our new Vice President of Company School Operations, focusing on strengthening ties with Operations Managers, General Managers, and school teams. Jim Love will now concentrate on franchisee support as Vice President of Domestic Franchise Operations. Additionally, Jason Barteck has been promoted to Vice President of International Franchise Operations to lead our global growth. These changes will enhance our top-tier support for schools and enrich the student experience worldwide.
